Innings: Test Cricket · LeafSoft
Delete your Innings data.
Innings: Test Cricket, made by LeafSoft. There are two places data connected with this game can exist, and you can clear both yourself without asking us. LeafSoft holds nothing: we run no server, so there is nothing on our side to delete or to wait out.
1. The saves on your device
The match in progress, your career batsman, your past careers and Hall of Fame, your challenge results and your settings. They stay in the app's private storage on your phone or television; only the career is copied anywhere else, and only to your own Play Games account if you are signed in (section 2). Any one of these removes them from the device:
- Uninstall the game. Everything goes with it.
- Android Settings → Apps → Innings → Storage → Clear data. Removes the saves and leaves the app installed.
- Inside the game: Retire ends a career, keeping a short summary in Past careers; finishing a match, or starting a new one, replaces the stored match.
If you are signed in to Google Play Games, a career removed from the device comes back from your saved copy the next time the game starts — that is what the copy is for. To remove it everywhere, delete the Play Games data as well (section 2).
If you use Android's own backup, a copy may sit in your device backup under your Google account. That is Android's feature rather than the game's, and you can remove it in Google One → Storage → Device backups.
2. Your Google Play Games data
If you are signed in to Google Play Games, Google holds your Play Games player ID, the scores you have posted to the game's leaderboards (from version 1.4.0), and the achievements you have unlocked and a saved copy of your career (from version 1.5.0). This is held by Google, not by LeafSoft, and it is removed in Google's own app:
- open the Google Play Games app;
- tap your profile picture, then Settings;
- choose Your data, then Delete profile and game data;
- choose Innings to delete the data for this game only. There is also an option to delete your whole Play Games profile across every game you have played — that one is not reversible, so take care which you pick.
You can also stop any further data being sent, without deleting what is there: in the same Settings screen you can turn off automatic sign-in, or make your profile private so it does not appear on public leaderboards. The game plays exactly the same either way; signed out, it offers a Sign in button, which you need not press.
What is deleted, and what is kept
| Held by LeafSoft | Nothing. No account, no server, no copy of anything. There is no retention period because there is nothing retained. |
|---|---|
| On your device | Deleted immediately by any of the three methods above. Nothing is kept. |
| Held by Google | Your Play Games player ID, your leaderboard scores, your achievements and your saved career. Deleting the game data removes your scores from the boards, your achievements and the saved career. Google's own retention is governed by Google's privacy policy. |
If you cannot reach the app
Write to admin@leafsoft.online and say which gamer name the scores are under. We cannot delete them for you - we have no access to Google's data and no account of our own - but we can tell you exactly where the setting is on your device, and if a score needs removing from a board we can ask Google to hide it through the Play Console.
More detail
The full Innings privacy policy says what is collected and by whom. In short: LeafSoft collects nothing, and the only things that leave your device are your scores, achievements and saved career, sent to Google if you are signed in to Google Play Games.
