Noesa is a straightforward, server-backed web app — no dark patterns and no data resale. Here's the plain-English version of what it stores, how the AI handles your prompts, and what it never does.

What Noesa stores

To run your courses and remember where you are, Noesa keeps the things you'd expect on its servers: your courses and their day-by-day content, your progress (which days you've completed, streaks, recall answers, and any completion badges), and your account settings. It's a normal managed database — stored securely and scoped to your account so it follows you between devices.

Your AI key & your prompts

Noesa's AI can run on your own provider key. When you bring your own key, the AI request — for example the topic or book you're turning into a course, or a tutor question — goes to your chosen provider under your key. That means your provider, not Noesa, is who sees those prompts, and their API terms govern how they handle them. Noesa does not train any models on your data.

Bring-your-own-key means you choose who to trust. The AI provider you pick sees your prompts under your own account, so you decide whose terms apply — instead of us deciding for you. Your key is stored securely and used only for your courses.

Account & sign-in

You sign in with your LeafSoft account — one identity that works across LeafSoft products, so you don't manage a separate Noesa login. Signing in lets Noesa keep your courses and progress synced to you across devices. You can reach your account and manage it from within Noesa.

What we never do

Noesa doesn't train on your data
Your content and prompts aren't used to train models. When you use your own key, prompts go only to the provider you chose.
No selling data
We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
No ad tracking
Analytics are cookieless and privacy-friendly. No advertising IDs, no cross-site fingerprinting.
No spammy nudges
No dark patterns to keep you scrolling — just a calm daily lesson and the odd streak reminder.

One honest note

To be straight with you: Noesa is a normal cloud web app, not an end-to-end-encrypted one. Your courses and progress live on our servers so they sync across your devices, and we can operate the service on that data. (End-to-end encryption is a feature of our other app, Jot, in its local mode — it's not how Noesa works, and we won't pretend otherwise.) What we do promise is the list above: your key, your provider, no training on your data, no ads, no resale.
